Ft Polk Wash Racks

Ballard teamed with Kenall and Freese & Nichols to provide Architect and Engineering services to make repairs to the North Wash Rack and South Wash Rack Facilities at Fort Polk. The scope of work included design analysis (with calculations) and cost estimate. The project is to make improvements to correct the following issues: the replacement of 16 inch water supply Lines which have leaks underneath the 18 inch concrete slab, replacement of water cannons, replacement of 2 electrical switch gears, replacement of control panels, replacement of the lighting system, replacement of 4 (four) 480V pumps, replacement of wiring and conduit, replacement of latrines, to add 2 (two) hand wash stations and to make updates to the control booth.
