Hudson Blvd Bridge at Hynson Bayou

Ballard CLC was selected by the City of Alexandria for the replacement of an existing bridge over Hynson Bayou located on Hudson Boulevard in Alexandria, LA.  Contracted in January 2013, Ballard performed design surveys and preliminary and final design to remove the existing bridge and construct a 120 foot (3-40’ spans) precast concrete girder span bridge on cast-in-place concrete caps on prestressed concrete piles. The project included a revised horizontal and vertical alignment along with construction phase services.
