Project Description
Work included installing approximately 10.5 miles of new water line replacement, of sizes varying from 2 diameter inch pipe to 6 inch diameter pipe. New water meters were installed that are radio controlled for remote meter readings. Other infrastructure items that were removed and/or replaced included: gate valve, fire hydrant, and flush valves. Two well sites were reconstructed with new infrastructure (ground storage tanks, pumps, iron-sand filters, chlorinators, remote monitoring and control capabilities, and chlorine resistant buildings with new back-up generators).
